Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate multicolor display by forming a fluorescent film which differs in emission start voltage and which consists of at least two fluorescent substances. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a blue fluorescent particle 31 is enclosed with the first inert layer 32 with uniform thickness and a green fluorescent layer 33 is provided on the surface. Further, the surface is enclosed with the second inert layer 34. A compound fluorescent body on which a red fluorescent layer 35 is provided is created and is uniformly coated on a glass substrate. Multicolor display is performed by switching the stimulated voltage for this fluorescent body into a number of stages.
