Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of a position shifting due to the unevennes of work without causing a decline of electric field intensity, by successively forming the first and the second cell members on one of the dielectrics for forming the cells and shaping the both cell members in stepped construction. CONSTITUTION:To a glass plate 1 a clear electrode 3 and to another glass plate 2 a desired segment electrode 4 and lead wires 5 for connecting single segments for each column are screen printed, and on these electrodes 3-5 dielectric films 6, 7 are formed respectively. Then on the rear side glass plate 2 coated by the electrode 4 and the lead wires 5 a material of relatively samll dielectric constant like, for instance, Al2O3 is screen printed on places excepting a portion of the segment electrode 4 to form a layer 10. To the glass plate 1 applied with the common eletrode, the first layers 8 after performing the first time printing then the second layers 9 after performing the second time printing are formed by providing a step difference. In this way, occurrence of a position shifting can be prevented.
