Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain such a device that clearly emits the three primary colors of light by installing a negative resistor layer in an interface between two illuminant layers in three illuminant layers. CONSTITUTION:Negative resistor layers 13, 10 are formed in both sides of a first illuminant layer 11 and a negative resistor layer 12 in a part of an luminous part, where an indium time oxide (ITO) electrode 15 and an Al electrode 1 are crossed, respectively. Likewise, negative resistor layers 8, 7 and 5 are formed in an interface of a second illuminant layer 6. And, such voltage that these negative resistor layers 12 and 7 are turned to a good conductor each is properly set there, and simultaneously these layers 12 and 7 tuned to the good conductor each, other negative resistors also are set so as to be tuned to the good conductor. With this constitution, a drive voltage is changed as specified, whereby each coloring light, green, red and blue of these luminous layers 11, 6 and 3 are separated, therefore they can be displayed. Consequently, these three primary colors are clearly emitted without mingling.
