Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the circularity of the bore side of a core by forming welding slots on the outer periphery of a split core, welding the side displaced from the center of the slot to integrally assemble the cores and thus preventing the deformation due to the welding. CONSTITUTION:A welding slot 13 of dovetail shape is, for example, formed on the outer periphery of a split core 11 formed by laminating punched steel plates. After the cores 11 are assembled, the side oblique surface of the slot 13 is welded at 14, the punched steel plates are integrally secured to form a core. The shape of the welding slot 13 may be V shape or U shape. In this manner, the tensile strengths f1, f2 due to welding can be concentrated to the shoulder of the slot 13, thereby preventing the deformation of the core.
