Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the strength of an engaging part in a stator core by disengaging a projection of a stator core at the center in a laminating direction to rotate approximately half of the core, and inserting newly a stator core to the engaging part to be engaged again, thereby engaging the projection with the core. CONSTITUTION:Projections 3, 3 to be laminated and engaged with each other at the punching time are faced at 180 deg. at stator cores 2, 2 punched from a strip steel plate 1. The projections are laminated fixedly to form a stator core 4. The core 4 is caulked to be disengaged into the projections 3, 3 into upper and lower cores 6, 7, one of which is rotated at 180 deg., a reinforcing engaging stator core 5 is newly inserted into the engaging part, and the cores 6, 7 are again engaged.
