Abstract
PURPOSE:To assure most suited cooling water amount automatically and to enable water supply, by obtaining the minimum number of sets of pump operation required for the sum of water amount for each cooling water system and controlling a flow rate adjusting valve provided independently with each cooling system. CONSTITUTION:In case of a plurality of cooling water systems, e.g. 3 systems, pumps 1-3 are operated in parallel, and a total water amount F0 is supplied for water amounts F1-F3 via individual flow rate adjusting valves 4-6 to each cooling system under a pressure P0. The required water amount F1-F3 of each system are inputted to a cooling water flow rate set section 7 to obtain the total amount F0, and the result is inputted to an optimum number of pumps and adjusting valve vetermining device (CPU) 8. Under the control of the CPU, a pump control circuit 18 turns on or off the pumps with required minimum number. further, the CPU controls the adjusting valves 4-6 via opening controllers 9-11, and feedback control is made via opening detectors 12-14 and signal converters 15-17. Thus, the interference between cooling systems can be reduced and the assurance and automatic adjustment of most suited cooling water amount can be made.
