Abstract
PURPOSE: In a control of inflow to a water receiving well (hakusisei) in a water treatment system, to limit the water level in the water receiving well within a predetermined range by conducting correction calculation of the outflow from downstream treatment steps based on the water receiving well level and determining an efficient inflow.
CONSTITUTION: Water treatment steps in a city water plant comprise a water receiving well 6, sedimentation basin 7, and filter basin 8. A pulse controller 2 is provided for controlling an inflow control valve 4 which is placed in an inflow conduit of the water receiving well 6. The controller 2 is fed with control condition signals a PV value (water take-up flow rate feedback signal) from a flowmeter 1 and a SV value (water take-up flow rate set point signal) from an operatinal setter 3, and controls the valve 4 based on the deviation of the signals. The setter 3 is fed with a water receiving well level signal from a water level meter 5 and with a filter basin outflow signal from a flowmeter 9, and determines an efficient inflow based on the water receiving well level and feeds it as the SV value.
