Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the temperature difference between supply and drain waters to an adequate value as a whole system of a generating plant, by automatically regulating a flow rate of cooling waters in the cooling water system partially of a unit among a plurality of sets of condensing turbine units.
CONSTITUTION: A preset signal of a setting unit 21 for the temperature difference between supply and drain waters is input to a deviation arithmetic unit 25 with an actual temperature difference obtained by an arithmetic unit 24 of the temperature difference between supply and drain waters, that accepts signals from a supply water temperature detecting unit 22 and drain water port temperature detecting unit 23, to obtain a deviation signal of the temperature difference. This signal is processed in a processing unit 26 of the deviation signal of the temperature difference to obtain a signal for cooling water amount. While signals from detecting units 27W29 for each generator output are applied to an adder 33 via arithmetic units 30W32 of cooling water flow rate to obtain a signal of cooling water amount for the purpose of limiting the temperature difference between supply and drain waters to a specified value as an integral system of the generating station. Those of the above two singals for cooling water amount are added by an adder 35 and applied to a processing unit 36 as a command signal of cooling water flow rate to perform a control operation for controlled units.
