Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten a starting time for a load by a method wherein a flow rate of air required for a simultaneous warming of a mill is added to a required air flow rate corresponding to the load.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided an adder 81 for adding a bias corresponding to the number of mills to be warmed to a required value of air flow rate 51, a change-over unit 82, a setting means 83 as well as adder 58 for adding a bias corresponding to a value of a rate of excessive oxygine in response to a load, a change- over unit 84 and a signal generator 85. When the change-over units 82, 84 are changed over to the output from the setting unit 83, a biasing value corresponding to the number of units to be warmed is added to the value of desired air flow rate value 51 in the adder unit 81. And in the adder unit 58, another biasing value corresponding to the number of the units to be warmed is added to the required load value 56, and a value required for performing a warming operation is added to the required signal for a degree of opening of FDF inlet vane. Thus, a simultaneous warming of the mill may be allowed and the load starting time can be shortened.
