Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the safety of a pump well, by bringing each pump plant to multiple-unit control, keeping a pump well water level high at the time of stopping water-receiving, and keeping the pump well water level at the time of starting water-receiving. CONSTITUTION:A water level from a water level gauge 6 installed in a pump well 04, and the respective flow rates from flow meters 7 installed in a water supply pipe 06, and a direct water distribution pipe 07 are inputted to an operation set number arithmetic unit 11 through a slave station 9 and a master station 10. By a setting device 12, various water level set values and the water receiving planned quantity are set. From these input information and the time from a timepiece 13, an arithmetic operation is executed by the operation set number arithmetic unit 11, a command for starting and stopping a pump, to the respective pump plants 03 is outputted, and a pump starting/stopping device 8 in the pump plant 03 starts or stops a pump 05. In such a way, at the time of starting water-receiving, the water level of each pump well is kept low, and at the time of stopping water-receiving. The water level is kept high, and by such a control, the pump well of a small capacity can be operated effectively and with safety.
