Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase productivity for sintered ore, and to reduce cokes amount to be used, without decreasing draft-property of raw material-layers by following method, in which a hearth layer is first supplied on a palette of a sintering machine, and thereon return sinters (through screen) is added and then raw materials for sintering is supplied on the return sinters.
CONSTITUTION: Return sinters being produced in a process of feeding sintered ore to a blast furnace, is temporally stored in a yard 1, next this return sinters ore put into an exclusive hopper 17 by a belt conveyer 16. Then the predetermined amount of return sinters is delivered by a device 19 delivering the constant volume, and is sent to a hopper 21 on the sintering machine by way of belt conveyer 18. The hearth layer stored in a hopper 20 is first placed on the palette of the sintering machine 9, and thereon successively return sinters 21 are delivered from the hopper 21. Further, prepared raw materials made of powdered ore and cokes etc. is delivered on the return sinters from hopper 7 by way of drum feeder 8. Sintered ore may be manufactured with better productivity and without decreasing draft under this condition.
