Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the heat collecting efficiency of the captioned solar heat collecting boiler and to make it possible to generate high temperature steam as a heat medium by a method wherein a heat medium circulating pipe is connected to a steam generating pool in a transparent vacuum container and a solar heat collecting means is provided in the heat medium circulating pipe.
CONSTITUTION: Both ends of a transparent glass tube 2 are sealed airtight with metallic end caps 3a and 3b, respectively, to thereby constitute a vacuum container 1. In this case, tube 2 includes a vertical section 2a and an inclined section 2b which are formed continuously are integrally with each other with the angle of inclination α of the inclined section 2b is greater than 10 degree with respect to the horizontal plane. Further, the steam generating pool 4 is received within the vertical section 2a while a liquid drum 10 is received in the lower portion of the inclined section 2b of the tube 2 and the steam generating pool 4 and the liquid drum 10 are connected to each other through a heat collecting pipe 5 fixed with a heat collecting plate 15 on the outer surface thereof on one hand and through a return pipe 11 on the other hand.
