Abstract

PURPOSE:To hold display by buzzers, lamps, etc. when a once disconnected state is reset or a momentary disconnected state occurs by using signal holding circuits. CONSTITUTION:A flip-flop FF is reset by a resetting circuit 7, to make its output Q zero potential. Then, display circuits 6-1-6-n are not driven. If a cable 1 to be tested is normal at the time of testing, the potential of P1 is zero and the FF of signal holding circuit 5-1-5-n are not set. When a disconnection occurs in the cable, the potential of the P1 of the corresponding detecting circuit 4 rises, and consequently, the FF of the holding circuits is set, by which the display circuits 6 are driven. This state continues until it is reset by a reset circuit 7. With such constitution, the momentary disconnected state is detected and displayed.
