Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to detect an instant error such as the insufficient contact, break or short-circuit of connection by using a latch circuit for the error detection.
CONSTITUTION: Under the control of a control circuit 2, the output of a counter 3 is fed out through a decoder 4 to the connecting pin of a driver 5. The resultant signal is transmitted through a cable 6 to be inspected to a receiver 7 until it is fed to a comparator circuit 8. If an error such as instant insufficient contact or break takes place in the cable 6, it is stored in a latch circuit 10 by the output of the comparator circuit 8 and displayed at 11. Incidentally, the number of the comparator circuit and latch circuit is the same as that of the connecting pins of the cable 8. Thus, it is possible to detect the instant error such as the insufficient contact, break or short-circuit of connection.
