Abstract
PURPOSE: To rationalize the treatment process of the outflow water of a biological treatment process by adding flocculants having positive charge to the outflow slurry from the biological treatment process for org. waste liquid and concentrating the same then adding an oxidizer and a material that can dissociate metallic ions.
CONSTITUTION: After crude night soil 1 is flowed without being diluted into a biological treatment device 2 of an activated sludge method or the like, a cation polymer 9 is added to the mixed slurries 7 of the slurry 6 flowed out therefrom and concd. separating liquid 5, and the mixed slurries are flowed into a concentrating device 8, where they are separated to concd, sludge 10 and separating water 17. The concd. sludge 10 is treated in a modifying tank 13 at 2W4pH in the coexistence of an oxidizer 11 and a metallic ion dissociating material 12 having oxidation catalyst effect, whereby its dehydratability is improved. Thence, the sludge is mechanically dehydrated by a filter press 14, and is separated to dehydrated cake 15 of low water contents and dehydration separating water 16. The water 16 is subjected to flocculation in an agitating tank 18 and is conducted into a settling basin 19 where clean treated water 20 is separated.
