NEW MATERIAL:Compounds of formula I (R1 is H, lower alkenyl, lower alkynyl; R2 is H, lower alkyl, phenyl; R3 is lower alkyl, phenyl, R4 is H, hydroxyl, lower alkanoyl; X is halogen; Y is lower alkylene; n is 0W2; the dotted line is single or double bond) and their salts.
EXAMPLE: 5-[2-Hydroxy-3-(4-phenyl-1-piperidyl)propoxy]-3,4-dihydrocarbostyrile.
USE: Antihistamine.
PREPARATION: The reaction of a compound of formula 2 with a piperidine derivative of formula 3 is conducted using no solvent or an inert solvent such as dioxane at room temperature to 200°C to produce the compound of formula I. The compound of formula 2, the starting substance, is obtained by reaction of a compound of formula 8 with another compound of formula 9 (X1, X2 are halogen) in the presence of a dehalogenation agent in a solvent such as DMF at room temperature to 200°C.
