Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a phosphor film of practically usable wet and dry adhesion strength without performing more phosphor surface treatment than is needed, by making a phosphor to be held between a binder such as potassium silicate. CONSTITUTION:Electrolyte is poured in a bulb 41 washed with pure water, and a funnel 43 equipped with both a stopper 44 and a nozzle 45 is set to the bulb 41. Following that, 20% of the entire volume of potassium silicate liquid which is to be poured into the bulb 41 is supplied through the funnel 43 into the bulb 41, thereby a potassium silicate film being formed on the inner wall of the bulb 41. A dispersion, which is adjusted so that a phosphor film of below 1mg/cm<2> thickness is formed after the completion of the work, is added with 20% of the entire volume of the potassium silicate liquid to make a mixture liquid 47. Then, the liquid 47 is poured into the bulb 41 through the funnel 43, thereby the liquid 47 being accumulatd on the previously formed potassium silicate film. By the means mentioned above, a phosphor film which has a practically usable wet and dry adhesion strength can be obtained.
