Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of voltage as well as the variance of the idling current, by putting a series circuit of a transistor (TR) and resistance which are connected via a diode between the base and the emitter of the 1st and 2nd output TRs. CONSTITUTION:The relation between a current I'3 flowing to a diode chain 7 and a current I'4 flowing to TRQ12 and TRQ14 is shown by the equation (1), where S10-S14 show the emitter areas of TRs Q10-Q14. The relation between idling currents I'5 and I'4 when R3=0 is satisfied is shown by the equation (2), where S13 and S16 show the emitter areas of TRQ13 and TRQ16 respectively. The voltage drop due to a resistance R3 is set at 1.5mV when no signal exists, and thus the current I'5 is virtually decided by the emitter areas of the TRQ13 and TRQ16 and does not depend largely on the current amplification factor. When the level of an input signal is high, both the TRQ13 and TRQ15 can be completely driven by the resistance R3.
