Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a simple relish food having the taste of the externally added seasoning, and composed of a fish meat plate impregnated with the seasoning, by coating a surface of a fish meat plate with a pasty seasoning, placing another fish meat plate on the seasoning layer, and mechanically pressing the laminate.
CONSTITUTION: Fish meat, such as meat of walleys pollack, is ground, mixed and kneaded with conventional seasonings, formed to a thin web by conventional means, and dried to obtain a fish meat plate. One surface of the plate is coated with a pasty seasoning e.g. obtained by adding gelatine, starch, etc. to cuttlefish powder and kneading the mixture to a paste. After drying the seasoning a little, another fish meat plate is placed on the seaoning layer, and pressed with external force.
