Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title seasoning wherein common salt is attached to each grain of vegetable seeds in a pepper-and-salt state, by incorporating edible plant seeds preliminarily fried in a boiled common salt solution, and by drying the mixture cooked to dryness.
CONSTITUTION: Vegetable seeds, e.g. sesame, having a given perfume, are fried while being shaken lightly in a pan with a thick wall heated at a suitable temperature, and preserved in another container. A given amount of aqueous common salt is boiled in another pan, and the seeds and, if necessary, spices, e.g. curry powder or Guinea pepper, are mixed with the solution, cooked to dryness over a strong fire, then dropped to an iron plate covered with paper, heated and dried over a strong fire for 3W5min.
