PURPOSE:To facilitate inpregnation of resin and improve insulating performance by providing a hole at a frame corner of windings for low voltage and high voltage. CONSTITUTION:A long hole 8 is bored at each corner of a winding frame 1. A low voltage winding 2 is wound on the winding frame 1. A main insulation 4 is wound thereon. And then a high voltage winding is wound on the outer periphery thereof. After molding said integrally formed winding by using resin, a resin molded transformer is formed by attaching an iron core. Utilizing such a winding frame, resin enters easily into a low-voltage winding 2 through frame holes 8. Because of this, a frame corner is strengthened mechanically by several times. As a result, because its mechanical strength is higher than residual inside stress after the solidification of the resin a crack would not occur at a frame corner. This enhances insulating performance of a transformer.
