Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit tight winding of a coil and facilitate production by monolithically forming end insulators to cover the inner and outer circumferential parts of an iron core at both end of a slot insulator by molding synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The slot insulator 4 to be inserted into a slot in a stator iron core 1 is molded from synthetic resin and monolithically formed with end insulators 5 to cover the inner and outer circumferential surfaces of the iron core 1 at both end parts. The inner diameter side insulator 5b to be located at the inner circumferential surface of the iron core 1 and the outer diameter side insulator 5a at the outer circumferential surface have different dimensions and shapes from each other: the outer diameter side insulator 5a is formed larger so that the iron core end surface 6 is not largely exposed. Thereby, a winding can be tightly wound through a slot 2, and can be readily shaped.
