CONSTITUTION:A bobbin body 3 is, for example, formed in a cylindrical shape with epoxy series resin vacuum molded. Strip conductive films 4, 5 are vacuum deposited on the outer peripheral surface of the body 3, and a strip conductive films 6 having a width at least wider than those of the films 4, 5 is vacuum deposited on the inner peripheral surface of the body. Primary and secondary coils 7 and 8, 9 are respectively provided on the films 6 and 4, 5. The body 3, the films 4-6 and the coils 7-9 are molded with potting resin 10, and a wound iron core 13 is inserted into a hold 11 of the mold 10. In this manner, a transformer having a bobbin with high withstand voltage range can be obtained.
