Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the multilayer coil, the number of winding thereof is many, at low cost in a short time by coating a thin insulator with a conductive material through evaporation or printing or the like and using the insulator as the coil for the transformer. CONSTITUTION:The transformer is manufactured in such a manner that a secondary coil 2 is wound on one core leg of a core 1, a primary coil is wound through an insulating barrier 3, and an upper section is covered with a shielding electrode 5. When the coil is prepared in this constitution, the surface of the thin insulator 11 is coated with the conductive material 12 through evaporation or printing or the like while leaving proper width at left and right end sections, and the thin insulator is wound only by desired number. Coil width is reduced toward an outer circumferential section in order to equalize the distribution of potential and improve dielectric resistance to the primary coil 4 at that time. A polyvinylidene fluoride film, etc. having large permittivity are used for an outer circumferential section and a polyester film, etc. having small permittivity are employed for an inner circumferential section in the thin insulator 11, and the distribution of potential of the coil to commercial frequency or impulse voltage is improved. Accordingly, ten thousands or more pieces of coils are easily prepared.
