Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the manufacturing cost of the transformer by the method wherein a coil is fitted to a core via an insulating layer, this coil is grounded and at the same time, the core is connected to the ground via a current limiting element, and insulation films of different thicknesses are formed on them electrostatically simultaneously.
CONSTITUTION: The center leg of core 1 of the transformer is fitted with primary coil 3 via insulating layer 2. On the outside of this coil 3 is fitted secondary coil 5 via insulating layer 4. The transformer constructed in this way is brought into an electrostatic fluidal immersion bath 7. In forming an insulating film on core 1 and coils 3, 5, first they must be connected to the ground by means of grounding conductor 8, and at the same time, only core 1 is connected to the ground via current limiting element 9.
