Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the quality of and the workability of a resin-molded motor by providing a projection making contact with the inner surface of a mold at the top of a cover for covering the coil end and burying integrally an external connection terminal at the time of molding thereby preventing the movement and the exposure of a winding. CONSTITUTION:Before a stator iron core 5 is molded integrally with a winding 2 and a connector, a cover 1 buried integrally with an external connection terminal 10 and a connector 9 is so mounted as to cover the coil end. A projection 3 is provided further at the top of the cover 1 so that the projection 3 make contact with the inner surface of a mold at the time of molding. Thus, it can eliminate the movement of the winding 2 and the exposure thereof from the resin-molded surface, and can prevent the layer shortcircuit and the disconnection of the coil.
