Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a one-side hot dipped metallic plate on an industrial scale by forming a double film consisting of an inner layer which is easily peeled from a metallic plate and of an outer layer repelling a molten metal for hot dipping on one side of the metallic plate and by carrying out hot dipping. CONSTITUTION:An inner layer which is easily peeled from a metallic plate after hot dipping is formed on one side of the metallic plate by coating a slurry contg. sodium silicate, H2BO3, NaOH, MgO, etc., and an outer layer is formed by spreading fine powder of titania or the like with high repellency to a molten metal for hot dipping. Thus, a hot dipping hindering film having a double structure is formed. The plate is then hot dipped, and after calcining the hot dipped plate, the film is removed. The film retains the double structure even after the calcining, and it can be well peeled only by water cooling without applying a mechanical means.
