Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a recording medium with which the signal recording state can be easily perceived after recording of the signal and with which a recorded disk of high S/N can be produced, by laminating a photoresist layer and a heat mode recording layer which is recorded by the laser light on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A layer 2 of a positive photoresist (like quinone diazido group composition) having a thickness (d) (within a range of about 1,000-2,000Angstrom ) and satisfying the relation shown by an equation (lambda: wavelength of the used laser light; n: refractive index of a substrate) and a heat mode recording layer 3 (available with CrS, MoO, MgF2, etc. to increase the recording sensitivity) of about 50-1,000Angstrom thickness which is composed of a metal like Sn, Bi, In, etc. are laminated on a substrate (like glass plate, etc.) 1. Thus a recording medium is obtained for an optical disk original board.
