Abstract
A transparent disc 1 carries a reflecting crenellated information structure 2 which is bonded to a flat heat- conducting plate 6, for example an aluminium plate, to reduce the amount of local heating, with consequent degradation of the information structure 2, which may be caused by the playback beam.
