Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an optical signal reproducing head which is lightweight and inexpensive and simplifiers a focus servo by using a hologram lens as an objective lens and by bonding a beam splitter, λ/4 plate and the above-mentioned lens in a body.
CONSTITUTION: Under beam splitter 3 obtained by connecting a couple of 45-degree prisms 3a and 3b mutually by multilayer film 3c at their bevels, λ/4 plate 4 is bonded with light-transmissive bonding layer 8 interposed and under it, hologram lens (e.g., an inline hologram lens formed by providing photosensitive film 5a having circular lens part 5a' in the center on glass substrate 5b) 5 is stuck via bonding layer 8. Under it, cover glass 9 is further bonded via bonding layer 8 and photodetecting element (e.g., photodiode) 7 is fitted to the flank of prism 3b of beam splitter 3 to obtain the marked reproduced head.
