Abstract
PURPOSE:To reproduce the high density picture image with high scanning speed, by arranging the coil heater as the hot-cathode directly on a cathode supporter while providing a shield wire applied with the insulation layer in the same direction with said arrangement between said heaters. CONSTITUTION:It is comprised of an insulative spacer 19 provided with the first and second control electrode groups 16, 18 having independent first and second control electrodes while having the hole section 19a provided on the second electrode group 18, a planar acceleration electrode 20 having the hole section 20a provided on said spacer 19, and a planar phosphor face 23 mounted on said electrode 20 through an insulative spacer 21 and forming a portion of the vacuum container.
