Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve stability and precision of mixture concentration of a solvent, by a method wherein a time, during which control valves are all brought to a closing state, exists for a very short time during a period covering from an opening state of a control valve under a suction process to an opening state of a succeeding control valve. CONSTITUTION:Electromagnetic valves 4a and 4b, having a less dead volume and a quick operating time, and a time, during which they are brought to a closing state from an opening state, being shorter than a time during which they are brought to an opening state from a closing state, are used as a control valve coupled to a suction port of a liquid feed pump 2. A stainless pipe, being reduced in pressure deformation and having a less capacity, is used with a line 3 connecting together the electromagnetic valves 4a, 4b and the liquid feed pump 2. Said pump 2 and electromagnetic valves 4a and 4b are regulated by a program 10, and are controlled so that a total closing state, under which the electromagnetic valves 4a and 4b are both brought to a closing state, exists for a very short time during a period covering from the opening state of one electromagnetic valve under a suction process, for example, the electromagnetic valve 4a to the opening state of the other electromagnetic valve 4b. Solvents A and B, sucked from solvent tanks 6a and 6b, are fed to a detector 100 through a mixer 7 from the pump 2.
