PURPOSE:To provide an operation under a decreased volume of NOX by a method wherein a signal relating to the feeding volume of exhaust gas for each of a plurality of dampers for adjusting the feeding volume of the exhaust gas into the furnace of a boiler is calculated in reference to the calculation model equation. CONSTITUTION:A combustion control device 18 is composed of a combustion condition forcasting unit 19 and a mixture gas adjuster unit 20. The combustion condition forcasting unit 19 may receive an output of power generation 204, temperature of steam 205, a signal showing a degree of opening of damper for mixture gas 206, and a signal on composition of exhaust gas (O2 gas signal 207, signal of concentration of NOx, signal of concentration of CO 209, and a signal of concentration of OP 210) and provide a representative model of a relation between the composition of the exhaust gas and each of the quantity of states. And each of the data during an operation is calculated in reference to the model and the air damper 3, mixture gas damper 10, primary gas damper 11 and mixture gas damper 12 are controlled in such a way as the calculated composition of the exhaust gas may meet the required value.
