Abstract
PURPOSE: To quickly transit the combustion from the stationary burning state to the pilot flame burning state and as well as prevent the incomplete burning state during the transition period between said burning states from being produced by a method wherein a primary air draft pipe is cut-off with an air cut-off means, when the forced ventilation is stopped, and the natural draft through a secondary air draft pipe is made possible.
CONSTITUTION: The forced ventilations to a primary combustion chamber 3 and a secondary combustion chamber 12 are performed by means of a blower 11, an air draft pipe from which is branched off at its midway into the primary air draft pipe 22 and the secondary air draft pipe 23 in order to be respectively connected to the combustion chambers 3 and 12. The respective draft pipes 22 and 23 are provided with draft regulating dampers 24 and 25 to regulate the air flow rate individually. Especially the air cut-off means, for example a gravity damper 26 is provided within the primary air draft pipe 22 led to the primary combustion chamber 3. During the stationary burning state, the excellent burning state can be kept with no generation of smoke in exhaust gas by properly adjusting the draft regulating dampers 24 and 25.
