Abstract

PURPOSE: To insure speedy heating and reduce installation-working hours, by controlling the air flow to the burner of a bolt heater, and thereby operating the burning outside of the bolt, and further by providing a gas-insulating mechanism when a fire breaks out.
CONSTITUTION: Burner 6 is connected to the base end of heating pipe 17, which is inserted into the center hole of bolt 21, and combuston air is sent to burner 6 via master valve 7, regulators 2 and 3 and control valve 4. Gas is sent to burner 6 via master valve 7, regulators 8 and 9, electromagnetic valve 10 and pressure-equalizing valve 11. The diameter of heating pipe 17 is set, for example, at 75W85% of the diameter of the center hole of bolt 21; and heating hole 19 is provided on its side, and grooves 20 are provided in four directions. By this, the combustion time can be reduced to 1/2 of the conventional device, and thereby, it is possible to reduce steam-turbine assembling and installing hours and processes.
