Abstract

PURPOSE: To inhibit the reduction of the efficiency of an induced draft fan (IDF) by the throttling of an IDF damper and improve the efficiency of a boiler by a method wherein the number of revolution of the IDF is controlled and the amount of induced draft is controlled when the variation of load is small.
CONSTITUTION: In a balanced draft type boiler, air by a forced draft fan (FDF) 1 is preheated 2, 3, and pushed into a furnace 4, and combustion gas in the furnace 6 is induced by means of an IDF6, and discharged from a chimney 7. In this case, FDF inlet valve driving devices C and IDF damper 9 driving devices D are controlled according to conventional methods, but a function generator 21 is newly mounted which sets the prearranged number of revolution of the IDF6 on the basis of air amount command signals 10. A subtracter 22 is installed which computes deviation between the prearranged opening of the damper 9 and the opening command of the damper 9, and the output is integrated 23 and added to an adder 24 as revolution number correcting signals. IDF revolution number controlling deiving devices E are controlled by the output of the adder 24 through automatic-manual changers 25.
