Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a control system simple and to improve the accuracy of metering and the accuracy of the blowing rate control by performing blowing of fuel into a blast furnace before an annular pipe. CONSTITUTION:Blowing of fuel into a blast furnace 9 is accomplished by a hot blast main pipe 4 between an annular pipe 17 and a hot stove 3. The supply of fuel into the main pipe 4 is accomplished via burner 7A from a fuel transport main pipe 14, and the rate of fuel supply is controlled by a fuel flow rate control device 12 installed to the main pipe 14. Namely, the air flow rate to be supplied to the hot stove 3 is detected with a blast flowmeter 2, the detected value thereof is inputted to a fuel blow control device 16. The device 16 controls the device 12 by referring to the amount of the blast to be supplied into the hot stove 3. Thereby, the fuel is supplied into the pipe 4 within the range wherein the blown fuel burns thoroughly. According to this method, the accuracy of fuel blow improves and the smooth blast furnace operation is accomplished.
