Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit an incinerator to be operated stably at various vapor generation rates by regulating the rate of operation of a feeder or a combustion unit, or the flow rate of combustion air in accordance with the temperature in the incinerator or a predetermined vapor generation rate. CONSTITUTION:The generation rate of vapor generated in a boiler 6 is detected by a flow meter 8 provided in a vapor pipe 7, and a signal representative of the generation rate of vapor is sent to a control device 9, where this signal is rendered equal to a signal representative of a predetermined vapor generation rate set by a manual setter 20, to send a starting or stopping signal to a feeder actuator 10 and a stoker actuator 11. A function arithmetic and logic unit 21 and ratio and coefficient meters 22, 23 are connected to the manual setter 20. The function arithmetic and logic unit 21 gives a feeder-actuating speed in accordance with a set level of vapor generation rate. The ratio and coefficient meter 22 gives a set level of stoker- actuating rate, and the ratio and coefficient meter 23 gives an optimum set level of combustion air flow rate to an actuator 27 for a control damper 15.
