Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the damage of packing in an ozone adsorbing and desorbing tower due to water flowing backward from a water pipe system by attaching 2 magnet valves to a desorbed ozone passage leading from the tower to the system in opposite directions and forming an open passage extending from the intermediate part of the ozone passage through a magnet valve.
CONSTITUTION: Oxygen ozonized with an ozonizer (not shown) enters an ozone adsorbing and desorbing tower 2 from an ozonized oxygen inlet, the ozone is adsorbed on packing, and the unreacted ozygen is returned to the ozonizer through an oxygen outlet. The ozone stored in the tower 2 by adsorption is desorbed from the packing by heating with a heater (not shown). Magnet valves 5C are opened, a magnet valve 5e is closed, and by passing water through an ejector 10, the desorbed ozone is sucked to form ozonized water. By closing the valves 5C and opening the valve 5e after the ozone desorption, even if the valve 5C2 leaks water, the water is discharged from the valve 5e, and no water reaches the tower 2. A check valve can be used in place of the valve 5e without changing the function.
