Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the sudden inflow of hydrogen gas and moisture in a hydrogen gas drier into a vacuum tank by each mounting a throttling device to a piping section passing between said drier and a vacuum pump and a check valve between the vacuum tank and the vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION:Wet hydrogen gas is circulated in the hydrogen gas drier 5 at all times. When the gas is absorbed to a desiccant and brought to a saturated condition, valves 6, 7 are closed completely. When a valve 8 is opened completely, the wet hydrogen gas in the hydrogen gas drier 5 passes in a pipe 24-th throttling device 15-a pipe 25, is sucked by means of the vacuum pump 13 and is discharged to the atmosphere. On the other hand, there is a danger that the wet hydrogen gas flows into even the vacuum tank 12 because the throttling device is also communicated with the vacuum tank 12. When the valve 8 is opened completely, the flow rate of the wet hydrogen gas is limited by means of the throttling device 15 while the inflow of the gas into the vacuum tank 12 is prevented by means of the check valve 16.
