Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish safe production of high concentration ozone solution through desorption of O3 previously adsorbed with an ozone adsorption/desorption apparatus in such a manner that the ozone is dissolved into the water directly being dispersed with a suction under reduced pressure without any desorbing gas.
CONSTITUTION: Ozonized oxygen to be fed from an O3 generator 2 is inducted to an adsorption/desorption apparatus via a selector 8-1 after cooled passing through a heat exchanger 5 and a gas cooling device 7. The ozone is adsorbed by an adsorbent in the device 4 while the remainder is returned to the generator 2 via the heat exchanger 5 and a blower 3 through a selector 8-3. On the other hand, after O3 is adsorbed by the adsorbent in the device 4-1 close to a saturation level, the selector 8-1 and 8-3 are closed, while a selector 8-2 is opened so that O3 is desorbed with an suction under reduced pressure by an ejector 10 without passing through any desorbing gas. O3 thus desorbed can be dissolved dispersed into the water of the ejector 10. In this manner, a high concentration ozone water of 10 to 50% by weight can be produced. The adsorption/desorption apparatus 4-2 performs adsorption and desorption alternately by the operation of the apparatus 4-1 and the selector.
