Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the operation cost of an ozone feeding apparatus provided with an ozonizer and an ozone adsorbing and desorbing tower by utilizing the heat of condensation from a refrigerator as a heating source when ozone adsorbed in the tower is released.
CONSTITUTION: Oxygen fed from oxygen feeding source 2 is ozonized with ozonizer 1 of the ozone feeding apparatus provided with ozone adsorbing and desorbing tower 4, etc. as well as ozonizer 1, and the ozonized oxygen is carried to adsorbent- packed tower 4 being cooled with cold brine 11 from refrigerator 13. In tower 4 ozone is stored by adsorption. When the adsorbent in tower 4 adsorbs ozone until it is almost satd., the operation of ozonizer 1 and the circulation of brine 11 are stopped.
