Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently release ozone from the ozone adsorbing and desorbing tower of an ozone feeding apparatus provided with an ozonizer as well as the tower by raising the internal temp. of the tower before starting the release of ozone and detecting a prescribed temp. with a detection sensor to start the releasing.
CONSTITUTION: Oxygen fed from oxygen feeding source 2 is ozonized with ozonizer 1 of the ozone feeding apparatus provided with ozone adsorbing and desorbing tower 4 as well as ozonizer 1, and the ozonized oxygen is introduced into adsorbent- packed tower 4 being cooled with refrigerator 5. In tower 4 ozone is stored by adsorption. When the adsorbent in tower 4 adsorbs ozone until it is almost satd., the operation of ozonizer 1 and the cooling of tower 4 are stopped. Heat source 6 is then actuated to heat tower 4, the temp. is detected with detection sensor 9, and when the temp. reaches a prescribed temp., by actuating water jet ejector 7, released ozone is sucked to produce an ozone soln.
