Abstract
The ozoniferous gas is produced from O2 in the generator (2) and passed through adsorption towers (5-9) packed with silica gel and kept at a temperature of -180 to +10 degrees C, and then returned to the generator. An adsorption period is followed by introducing a carrier gas at a pressure no higher than during adsorption, for ozone desorption from the silica gel. The ozoniferous carrier gas is then brought into contact with the water to be treated. Higher O3 concentration than when produced from air; better overall efficiency; oxygen circulation is achieved without excessive accumulation of impurities.
