Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure simply and without contact and in real time the amount of movement by reading by means of a reading light a spectrum pattern of a space modulation device that was double-exposed by the reflection light from an object to be measured and applying Fourier conversion to detect Cross-Wiener spectrum. CONSTITUTION:The light from Ar laser at a specified time is reflected at an object 6 to be measured, and it is focused on a space modulation device 9 via a focusing optical system and it is recorded. After the object 6 moves DELTAS in t1 seconds in the same way the image of reflection is recorded at the sapce modulation device 9. Next, the Ar laser 1 is shielded by a shutter 2 and the reading light from He-Ne laser 15 that is made parallel by collimater optical syatem of lenses 17 and 18 is directed to the space modulation device 9. The emitting light which has changed its polrization characteristics is Fourier-converted by a Fourier conversion lens 11 through a light detection element 10, and Cross- Wiener spectrum is detected by a photo-electric conversion device 12, and the amount DELTAS of movement of the object 6 is measured simply and in real time without contact.
