Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a surface treatment steel plate having high corrosion resistance, to be used for an outer plate of an automobile, etc., which has elevated corrosion resistance, painting property, weldability, etc., by coating the surface of a steel plate with Ni, heating it, forming an Ni diffusion layer, and after that, performing Zn-Ni plating to at least one surface.
CONSTITUTION: On at least one surface of a steel plate, an Ni coating layer which is ≤about 15g/m2 is formed, is heated in a non-oxidizing atmosphere, a diffusion layer of Ni is formed in steel, and a stable surface state of the steel is formed. Subsequently, a Zn-Ni alloy plating layer is formed on at least one surface of this steel plate. In this way, in case when the surface and the reverse side of the steel plate are used under different environments, the performance which conforms with its working environment is given to the steel plate. Also, the Zn-Ni alloy plating layer can be reduced due to an effect of elevation of corrosion resistance of the Ni diffusion layer.
