Abstract

PURPOSE: To diffuse Fe, and Ni and Cu to each other and obtain high corrosion resistance by subjecting a steel plate which is carried out with Ni-Cu two layered plating of required thicknesses to a heat treatment at temps. below the m.p. of Ni in such a way that Ni is not diffused up to the surface layer part of the coating layer.
CONSTITUTION: An ordinary steel plate or stainless steel plate is carried out with Ni plating of 0.1W5μ thicknesses and is further carried out thereon with Cu plating of 0.5W20μ thicknesses.
