Abstract
PURPOSE: To form surface-treated layers of superior corrosion resistance, workability, spot weldability and chemical conversion treatability on a steel plate by forming a Cr-contg. layer and an Fe plating layer successively on the surface of the steel material then heat treating the same to allow the respective layers to diffuse and penetrate each other.
CONSTITUTION: A layer of Cu alone or a Cr alloy layer 2 contg. ≥1 kinds of Fe, Ni, Nb, Al, Cu, Co, Mo, Ti, Si in Cr is formed on a steel plate ground 1 by plating or the like, and further a plating layer 3 of Fe is formed thereon. This steel plate is put in an annealing furnace, and is heated in mixed gaseous atmospheres of hydrogen and nitrogen. The components of the above-mentioned respective layers diffuse and penetrate each other, whereby the surface treatment layers consisting of the Cr diffusion layer A of ≥2μm thickness, the layer B of 10W35wt% Cr and 1W55μm thicknesses wherein the Fe of an Fe-plated layer 3 diffuses in the Cr layer (Cr alloy layer) 2 and the layer C of <5wt% Cr and ≥3μm thickness wherein the Cr diffuses in the Fe-plated layer 3 are formed on the surface of the steel plate 1.
