CONSTITUTION:The austenite base iron alloy pipe containing Cr; 15-26%, Ni; 8-35%, Si; 1% or under, Mn; 2% or under is treated like this: A grain refining layer in excess of grain size No.7 is formed over a thickness range of above 30mu on at least the inside surface side of the foregoing iron alloy pipe. Next, the foregoing iron alloy pipe having been formed with this grain refining layer is cold- worked and is further subjected to recrystallization treatment at above 950 deg.C, e.g., 1150 deg.C.
