Abstract

PURPOSE:To equalize the DC voltage value in the DC intermediate circuit of each invertor by a method wherein the phase difference between the gate signals of positive and negative poles of each multiplex connected invertor is shifted. CONSTITUTION:The AC output side and AC input side of the invertors 10, 20 respectively comprising the power rectifiers 11, 21, the power invertors 12, 22 and the DC reactors 13, 23 of the DC intermediate circuit are respectively connected to the load motor M and each secondary winding of the transformer T. Then the phase difference of the gate signal supplied for the power invertor 12 on the invertor 10 side between the positive pole side each phase U1-W1 and the negative pole side each phase X1-Z1 is set to 60 or more (approximate 90 deg.) while the phase difference of the gate signal supplied for the power invertor 22 on the invertor 20 side between the positive pole side each phase X2-Z2 is set to 60 or less (approximate 30 deg.). Through these procedures, the DC voltage value in the DC intermediate circuit of each invertor may be equalized making common use of the power rectifiers of each invertor.
